Book Release!
They're here at last! I'm so excited for all of you to meet Birdie and Goose.
This book began as a short story back in 2013 (the first part was published in an anthology by Seventh Star Press, "A Chimerical World: Tales of the Seelie Court"), but I fell in love with the characters and the world and just had to see where else they would take me. (I'm editing the sequel as we speak!)
The book is about two girls, Birdie and Goose, who live in a home for girls with behavioral problems. Birdie sneaks out one night and discovers a faery and a raggedy human-sized teddy bear in the woods. The faery invites Birdie to join the Moon Court (much to the bear's chagrin). Goose sneaks in behind Birdie, and the two are plunged into the schemes of the various faery queens. Both discover powers they weren't aware of before, and they each must deal with their own inner demons as the Dark Queen and her shadows tempt them away from the courts.
