2018 Writing Recap

Here we are again with the year-end recap. This has been a busy year, with two new novels written (first drafts) and lots and lots of editing! Next year will be even more full of editing, so my yearly writing goal will be much lower than it normally is. I'm looking forward to it, though, because by the end of it I should have many novels ready to send out into the world!

For those interested in my actual monthly breakdown for this year, read on.

Decided The Call of the Fae series would include five books instead of three

Final word count for 2018: 194,971

Now, on to my goals for 2019.

As I mentioned above, I plan to focus heavily on editing in 2019. If all goes according to plan, by the end of the year I should have completed:

The Curse of the Kelim draft 5

The Forest Guardian drafts 4 & 5

The Last Mages of Greybrook drafts 2-5

The Queen of Thorn and Ivy drafts 2-5

The Myth of Light draft 1

Writing goal for 2019: 80,000

Editing goal for 2019: about 960,000

That's it for now!
