My first short story to ever be published was "The Lady of the Fog," but rather than a US publisher, this one was picked up by a UK publisher. It appeared in an issue of the digital magazine Visionary Tongue, along with a story by my dear friend A.N. Calaway. I received a paper copy of the magazine some months later, but because the main format was digital, it was never one I was able to take with me to conventions or give away.
I mentioned earlier this year that New Con Press had contacted me about a Visionary Tongue anthology. Of course I said yes, and was thrilled to learn my friend's short story would also appear in it.
Well, the wait is almost over. Here is the beautiful cover.
I'm so excited to receive a copy of this, and can't wait to re-share it with all of you. For those interested, you may pre-order a copy on the publisher's website here, or on Amazon here. The release date is September 29th.
